Polymers nanocomposites for engineering

date:2021-10-20

Polymer nanocomposite materials are the materials made up of organic polymers as continuous phase and inorganic nanoparticles as filler. The polymer nanocomposite leads to a material with more useful structural and functional properties in comparison to the individual constituents. The functional nanoparticles can work as reinforcement material to increase the mechanical property of polymers; more importantly, they can create interconnected electric or dielectric networks in the polymer matrix, and that enables the polymer nanocomposites a potential multifunctional material for various use in dielectric, electronic, and microwave fields. Our research is focused on the development of advanced polymer nanocomposite with superior mechanical, dielectric and thermal property for biological, transporter and telecommunication applications.
